So as Yoda stated, the Right wrist ideally (for a swinger) is Bent, Level, Turned at the top, his idea was correct in that 5-C-2 says Bent Level Turned, but 5-C-2 should be say Bent, Cocked, Turned. As usual, the professor had it nailed, "Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato-BLT" for the right hand- just that his revision post will say 5-B-2. Or who knows it might say R2D2.

There should be no confusion on this point:

DG,

You must have the 5th edition (or earlier), wherin the 5-C-2 Right Wrist was Bent, Cocked and Turned. This was an error in earlier editions before Homer came to fully understand the Right Arm Flying Wedge and its constant Bent Right Wrist condition. The 6th edition corrected the earlier editions and stated the proper Right Wrist Top Condition as Bent, Level and Turned.

Mike O.,

There is no error in the 6th edition. In fact, the 6th edition corrected the error of earlier editions.

At the Top, the Left Wrist is Flat, Cocked and Turned. The Right Wrist is Bent, Level and Turned (BLT per 5-C-2 in the 6th edition). This is, in fact, the 'Useful Combination' so described by the Header. At no time should the Right Wrist Cock, in 'Useful Combinations' or otherwsie.

Thanks Homer

In your progress toward Golfing Perfection, these are two of the most important Feels you can cultivate:

1. The Left Thumb directly behind and supporting the Shaft; and

2. The Right Hand Cup covering the Thumb and thereby buttressing this critical Alignment while also adding its own.

Monitor these Feels at first individually and then in their unity. Be aware of the in-line 'Cup-Thumb-Shaft' Pressure (1) at Fix and Adjusted Address; (2) at the Top; (3) through Impact to Both Arms Straight; and (4) at the Finish.

As EdZ has stated, this dual, On Plane, Behind-the-Shaft support solidifies the Flying Wedges and in so doing, gives the player an incredible sense of Clubhead Control. If you ever get a chance to watch Trevino, either on tape or in person, check out his glove: You'll find it always taped at the first joint of the Thumb.

Its not called the #1 Pressure Point for nothing!

10-2-B and Palms Facing

This is an interesting question. When most people think "palms
together" they assume a 'praying' position, i.e., palms together and
both wrists bent. In this instance, the back of the Left Hand and the palm of
the Right both face down the Target Line. But...

These alignments ignore the Inclined Plane of Motion and the Inside Out Angle
of Approach. The correct 10-2-B is assumed with the Left Wrist Flat and only
the Right Wrist Bent. With these Impact Alignments in place, the back of
the Left Hand and the palm of the Right face down the Angle of Approach, well
to the right of the Target.

So, there is a 'palms together' feel of the 'prayer' Grip and the 'palms
together' Feel of the correct Golf Grip. If you feel:

1. Your Left Wrist and Right Palm facing to the right of the Target;

2. Your Right Palm pressing your Left Thumb in the same 'to the right'
direction; and finally...

3. The all important Right Forefinger #3 Pressure Point also facing the same
direction...

Then you are feeling a true 'palms together' Grip.
