What is the name of the man who putted - or wrote a book about a putting style with both arms on plane with the putter shaft and where his hands formed a grip where the hands and fingers were at 45 degrees to each other? It's an old putting style - not much used today? The purpose was to eleminate both wrists from breaking down in either direction and not turning or bending at all. Are there any pictures or videos of this on the internet?

How the assembly is moved and the pressures are equal or more important to this putting procedure.

Air are you referring to a weak right weak left hand grip? Left hand Rolled , Right Hand Turned?
Reverse Overlap, Zeroed #3 angle, Arms on Plane. Kinda reminds me of our own Brian Gay. That grip prevents any unwanted wrist motion. Have you been talking to Yoda or something?

Maybe it's the same, I'm not sure.
I have tried it once with Yoda and I had problems taking the grip when the hands are rolled and turned in such radical manner. Would like a picture/drawing and it wouldn't surprise me if it shows up here on the site if I'm a little patient.

I probably should have figured this out by now, but could you be so kind to elaborate some more on the things you mention here? Thumbnail? Which one? Both turned/rolled 45. Is that about half the the distance to having both palms pointing to the sky? Is there any uncocking of the wrists as well to make the grip possible?

"Thumbnail" is the small picture of Runyan I attached to my above post. Then with your palms facing each other, on the putter, turn your right hand 45* clockwise (turned) and roll your left hand 45* counterclockwise (rolled) . Tour grip should now be hard to bend in any direction so everything moves as a assembly. the stroke is made by moving your shoulders. Now as a next step. your right hand fingers are now in front ( closest the hole) and your left hand fingers are behind (away from the hole. pull the backstroke with the right hand and pull the forward stroke with the left hand. For many, pulling is much smother than pushing. You may also want a reverse overlap on the left index finger.
