Rick Murphy's Golf Channel Instructor Search Video
Rick Murphy, PGA, has entered the arena. Yay!

Readers of these pages know of Rick's outstanding reputation as a PGA of America teaching professional and owner of the Rick Murphy Golf Academy in Greensboro, NC http://www.carolinagolfacademy.com/. His credentials include the Carolinas PGA 2008 Professional of the Year and the 2001 and 2009 Teacher of the Year. In addition, he was named among the Golf Digest 2010 Best Teachers in North Carolina. These achievements are even more impressive when you consider that, with more than 2,000 members, the Carolinas Section is the largest of the 41 Sections in the United States.

I'm also delighted that he was the first Lynn Blake Certified Senior Instructor in The Carolinas.

Rick is a born teacher who delivers his message with authority and professionalism. The information he presents in this video is powerful and consistent with our Certified Instructor training. I am proud that Rick has chosen to align with Lynn Blake Golf. I am even more proud to call him my friend.

Enjoy!

WOW, great video. It's easy to see why Rick was selected as one of YODA's first Certified Instructors. I hope you don't mind, I am sharing that video on my facebook page along with YODA's, and will use it with my students as well.

Great job Rick!

Kevin

At Top

Shoulders centered over the hips.
Hips centered between the feet.
Feet feel EQUAL pressure.

I guess I haven't been paying enough attention, or it was never explained in such simple terms. I enjoy a lot about S&T, and I have started teaching my students to keep some pressure on their left foot at the top. I wasn't certain how that would fly with YODA, but It's been right in front of me all along!

Thanks Rick, for unlocking that door for the chubby dummy from Anoka!

A note to 12 Piece Bucket.....would like a comment or two on the video on Pivot and Stationary head.....nice comments on the impact question 12PB...
I have not participated in posting my comments very much at all in the past with any of the questions, comments or discussion's...I've been listening which is what I do best....but plan to visit and post regularly in the future....This has been a great source of information and discussions...which lead to a better understanding and more importantly how some of you take information and process it and respond....great learning forum...for anyone at any level......keep it up.
