Thanks for the reference Mike. I had never even heard of Mr. May before, but after finding a few things they are some more pure gold found here.
Thanks again!

Very cool! Did you G.O.L.F. today? How did you do? I shot a 42 and then hit every bunker on the next 9 holes for a smooth 53. I almost never hit sand and I am terrible at getting out of it!

Patrick,
Set your Stance Line slightly left.
Open your Clubface and aim it slightly right.
Position the ball well forward.
From a 'Head Centered' position, lean your whole body left. Move your Head and Left Shoulder LEFT. Picture the 'Leaning Tower of Pisa'. Dig in your left foot twice as deep as your right -- the way the TOUR players footprints look when they exit the sand -- and leave your weight there.
Now, picture a 'flying carpet' of sand beginning and exiting two inches on each side of the ball.
Stay left, and swing along a line slightly left of the flag.
With authority, 'spank' the club through the sand.
P.S. Bagger, Please note the Threadjack by Yoda - He should be punished the same as all threadjackers!
I mixed business with pleasure ieri sera "last night," and I apologize!
I wanted to hear about Daryl's play since he has given my game so many great gifts, as has lots of other people here.
Yoda, was simply being Yoda, and helping a neophyte. I teach computer science to young people (and will start a First Tee Program next year) and he teaches our computers how to play this great game. No harm, no foul imho.
The suggestion to start another thread though is well said. I have added several insights to another thread "vertically uncocking left wrist," already.
Do we have a "sand trap" thread? If not, I'll start it with Yoda's generous answer.
How about this: "Weekly Application of TGM in Our Regular Foursome or Group." I would enjoy hearing about the specific applications of TGM insights in our regular, non-tournament play.
