It
We have all, or most of us... have had IT, at least for a while. Maybe you played the front 9 great. You hit the ball nearly perfectly, and made everything. You go in on the turn, and when you come back...IT is no longer there.

Maybe you have been playing well for a period of time. Shooting good scores, and striking the ball well. Then one day you wake up and IT is not there.

This can also happen in reverse. You play a poor front 9, nothing seems to feel right, but you hang in there. Then you strike a solid shot, or make a good putt, and suddenly IT is back. Your timing is good, you feel everything working well, and you are striking the ball well.

One day you show up to play. You have not played well for some time. For some reason you think of something that makes sense to you that day, or maybe you can just tell on the warm up that IT has returned, and IT has.

What is IT? Is IT having all the Essentials and Imperatives working perfectly. Is IT just good Timing. Is IT confidence? Is IT all these, or something else?

What do you think?

Having IT in golf or in any activity and in life in general is about going above and beyond what anyone else would do in every aspect of what your trying to do. Total dedication and concentration. I am a firm believer in that you get back what you put into anything you wish to do. Your have to believe in yourself and your practice contructively with convictions.

The truth is that when most people do anything they don't really give it their all in anything... and thats as true for touring professionals as it is for amateurs. The times in your life when your find that you are capable of anything is when you feel extraordinary pain and are off your cruise control coasting along happy and contented. Do you think it was a coincidence that when both Woods and Dimarco lost someone close to them suddenly they were the two at the top of the leader board that year because I sure don't....

When you do anything that intensely, it eventually becomes hard to keep it going but success is yours and the more time you put in on that level it will have an accumulative effect on anything you put your time into.
