I am a Scrabble/Risk historical war games and simulations person. I have used the "Zoo Tycoon" package with a lot of students, profitably, since the free download of the demo is available at CNET.com, a wonderful site, IMHO. :)

Physicsgames.net is also very cool.

Welcome to our group. Tell us something of your golfing interests, skills, expectations and/or achievements. :golfcart:

Yep! Some of 'em are even "Batting in Fading Light" as my eldest Son remarks whenever I have a senior moment.:laughing1

Hmmmm: a routine delivery or a wrong 'un?

City,

Not sure if you have bowled a Leg Spinner or a Googly by way of those comments.:confused1

If I can't see which way the seam on the ball is rotating, then I cannot predict which way it will spin off the pitch.

Which way are your remarks spinning, towards humour or oherwise?

If I am being admonished I would appreciate an explanation.

No worries there innercity.

Burner and Golfguru are long time LBG friends and I've never known them to have anything other than good intentions laced with Brit and Aussie humor respectively and just so I don't offend, not the same kind of humor.

A big mis-read on your part I'm afraid, but no harm done.

BTW, the OP (original poster) is under watch as a potential spammer.

Thanks Bagger.

Golfguru's well intentioned observation that he personally knows of several talented cricketers who participate in this forum and my attempt (being a former cricketer) at self-deprecation were indeed simply misunderstood.

However, no harm done and no hard feelings.

Well, I overreacted and I apologize.

I think everyone should have a friendly response when they write this site.

I deleted my offending post.

I apologize for the harsh words and attitude.

Sorry,

Patrick

Gosh, did I miss something? Dang, and I thought we might have had a budding opportunity to explain how TGM has been taken to the cricket coaching world of late :)
