Golfing Holiday 2013 – Advice!!
Hey Guys,

This year (2012) I have missed out on a lot of golf due to work and other commitments and I have decided to plan an annual (if my finances let me) "Golfing Holiday" starting in 2013. Obviously I would like to do a little more than golf but would love to ensure I see the best courses and meet some cool people/golfers on my trip.

That said, as I am from the Gold Coast in Australia where it is golfing season all year round which I know is not the case around the world (sorry to rub it in haha)

I was initially thinking UK and Ireland for 2013 which as far as google tells me the best time is July/August...

Has anyone been on a "Golfing Holiday" or could recommend somewhere different? The other scenario I was thinking would be cool if I organised it to coincide with a Major Tournament or Event that I could go to or something...

Anyways, let me know your thoughts so I can make the most of it!

Thanks

Don't know about the Golf there, but
the seafood is really great and the
place is very nice and clean. Kind
of like Miami before the crazies moved in.

Donn,

Will be in Orlando for a couple
of weeks starting on Jan 19th.
Lesson or no, let's get together.
Want to see you.

P.S. Do you have "quarter"
holes worn in your new clubs
yet? Wouldn't be surprised.
You're a "two bucket a day"
guy--teaching baskets!--
and your clubs have a very
rough time!

Yoda (Lynn) Thanks for your message.
You and Hogan are certainly my mentors.
Bryan Moran, is the Pro at the Lone Palm CC,
here in Lakeland FL. Lone Palm is the most
upscale CC in Lakeland with great practice
facilities. Bryan has thinking about a two
hour lesson from you, but feels that he could arrange
a half day seminar for the members. Could you contact
him at WWW.BRYAN.Moran@PUBLIX.COM. His telephone
number is (863) 499-5481, Fax (863)499-5482.
You are simply the best and a great friend. Donn

O.B. Left, the School by Lynn was a lot of fun as you suggested and a great success. Wish that you could have been there.
Donn.

Thanks for the update Donn. I talked to Lynn while he was driving down there.... we talked for quite a while actually as he had two hours of road in front of him and nothing to do. I got him half way there. Wish I new how to tape phone conversations so I could remember things better. One thing I can tell you is that he told me all about your group and seemed very excited about getting together with you guys.

If you do it again send me a note and Ill see if I can make it happen.

All the best
James
