Thought i would share this,i went for a 9hole practice today and cleared my thoughts completly and just concentrated on the swing radius today,no thoughts of hitting,swinging or anything...i just visualised the impact area........maybe 2ft back and 2 ft through ,mind you .,im talking a full swing here,but just concentrated on the radius path plus forearm rotation,i was pleasantly surprised with length and accuracy,after all the tgm practice ive had in the past enabled me to forget mechanics in the main and just keep it simple......just felt good,so i thought i would share.....cheers

Thanks for posting, brownman. We all need to be reminded that the ultimate goal of any training is to be able to perform subconsciously. Sounds like you've reached the "turn it loose and trust it" stage. Congratulations!
Hey brownman! I can relate to your post when I was an amateur golfer. My thoughts were about correct angles, alignment to the ball, body mechanics, grip that was not even relaxed and unstable, and so on. They keep bugging my head thus keeping me away from concentrating the game. These are the reasons why I became a terrible golfer during my practice period. Then someone who looked like a pro approached me and advised the same thing you mentioned. He said "Relax kiddo, just keep it simple." I realized my mistakes.
